The Federal Capital Territory Police Command has ordered a massive arrest of metal scavengers popularly known as Baban bola in Abuja.
This was disclosed in a statement signed by the spokesperson of the command, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Josephine Adeh.
The statement revealed that the public laid complaints about the menace of vandalism and theft of individual and public property perpetrated by metal waste scavengers.
It enjoined residents not to resort to jungle justice but to arrest and report any rogue scavenger to the nearest Police Station
