NLC Refutes Claims of Plotting Rallies

The Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, has refuted claims by the Department of State Security that labour unions are plotting to carry out rallies to destabilize parts of the country.

NLC President, Ayuba Wabba, disclosed this in a statement issued to newsmen in Abuja, on Monday.
The statement described the allegation as unfortunate, saying it smacks of sheer mischief.

It urged the DSS to re-channel its energy and resources into bringing to justice the enemies of public order.
