Telecommunications subscribers grew by 2.03 in January

The Nigerian Communications Commission, NCC, has revealed that the number of telecommunication subscribers in Nigeria grew by 2.03 million in January.

According to its new industry statistics, the number of subscribers grew to 197,152,773 in January 2022.

Data from the commission added that the number of active telephone connections per 100 inhabitants living within an area, grew from 102.40 per cent in December 2021 to 103.46 per cent in January 2022.
