The National Primary Health Care Development Agency, NPHCDA, has received 3 million single-shot COVID-19 vaccines donated by Italy.
Italian Ambassador to Nigeria, Stefano De Leo, stated that Italy remains committed, to support Nigeria’s vaccine needs.
More than 17 million doses were earlier sent by other European-Union member states.
The 20 million total represents 61 per cent of all donated vaccines received by Nigeria via the COVAX facility.
