Minister of Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige, says the suspension of the strike embarked upon by the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU is dependent on the Union.
Ngige who made the comment while speaking to newsmen on Thursday, called the University lecturers to be considerate.
He reiterated that he cannot make a commitment on when the impasse will be resolved and urged the lecturers to do their part.
The Minister, however, noted that there would be a meeting of all stakeholders next week as part of moves to resolve the lingering strike.
