Wike calls for establishment of state police

Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike, has said state police is one of the possible ways of checking insecurity in the country.

Wike, disclosed this to delegates of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, in the state ahead of the presidential primaries, in Taraba state.

He maintained that establishing state police will be one approach to addressing the festering insecurity in Nigeria.
