Former Anambra State governor Peter Obi has attributed the high level of insecurity in the country to the poor state of economy.
Obi disclosed this at a meeting with stakeholders and delegates of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, in Ekiti State, on Sunday.
He lamented the high rate of unemployment, unstable education sector and deplorable infrastructure in the country.
The former governor, who bemoaned the high incidence of borrowing by the country, stressed that the challenge is how to pull the country out of its current crisis.
