Meanwhile, the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders’ Association of Nigeria, MACBAN, has distanced itself from a Fulani group that purchased nomination form for a former President, Goodluck Jonathan.
A statement issued by the National Secretary of Concerned Registered Members of MACBAN, Abdulbasid Bonga, maintained that they were not a party to the charade.
The statement noted that Ibrahim Abdullahi is not a member of MACBAN, adding that he is a factional National Secretary of Gan Allah Fulani Development Association.
It appealed to its members across the country to remain law abiding and not to allow themselves to be used as agents of crisis.
Recall that some members of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Rearers’ Association purchased the 2023 presidential form for Jonathan.
