The National Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress has urged President Muhammadu Buhari to resist the temptation to impose a successor on the Party.
According to a letter signed by the APC National Vice Chairman (North-West), Salihu Lukman, any recommendation to the contrary would be inimical and injurious to the electoral fortunes of the Party.
The letter warned that anything short of providing a level playing field to all the Presidential Aspirants would prove democratically risky for the Party.
Recall that Buhari had on Tuesday told the APC Governors that he needs their support in choosing his successor.
