Seven Presidential Aspirants contesting on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, have rejected the five names that were purportedly submitted to President Muhammadu Buhari to select a consensus Candidate.
The aggrieved Aspirants made the rejection in a statement issued on Tuesday.
The aggrieved Aspirants include Cross River State Governor, Ben Ayade; Ex-Minister for State for Education, Emeka Nwajiuba; Ex-Minister for Science and Technology, Ogbonnaya Onu; former Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha, among others.
Recall that the APC Northern Governors had submitted five names to the President for selection of a consensus Candidate.
