President of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Felix Tshisekedi has revealed that Rwanda supported M23 rebels in clashes in the East of the Country.
Tshisekedi’s claims were his first in recent times as tensions continue to rise between the eastern Africa neighbors.
He maintained that although he wanted peace with Rwanda, DR Congo’s neighbors should not mistake the country’s desire for peace with weakness.
Rwanda has consistently denied accusations of backing the rebels.
