The Nigerian military has warned politicians against inciting violence before and during the 2023 general elections.
Chief of Defence Staff, Lucky Irabor, disclosed this during the operational briefing of the military in Abuja.
Irabor stressed that any political thug caught during electioneering would be seriously dealt with, adding that the desire to have peaceful general elections by Nigerians must come to fruition.
The Army Chief noted that the military would not fold its arms and watch politicians cause unrest in the country.
