Sixty families of deceased personnel of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, received over N200 million as life insurance benefits.
Commandant General of the Corps, Ahmed Audi, stated that the 60 families were the first tranche of life insurance benefits rolled out.
Audi assured that the agency was working to ensure that all those that are entitled to such benefits are captured and attended to accordingly.
While appreciating the federal government for ensuring that the death insurance benefits are paid, the Commandant advised beneficiaries to make good use of the money received by investing wisely.
