Court Orders Immigration Service to Release Details of Ukpo

The Federal High Court in Abuja has ordered the Nigerian Immigration Service and three banks to release details of David Ukpo to the detained former Deputy President of the Nigerian Senate, Ike Ekweremadu.

While delivering judgment, the Presiding Judge, Inyang Ekwo issued the order in a suit instituted by Ekweremadu and his wife, Beatrice.

Justice Ekwo noted that all official information including the account opening package in relation to Ukpo are to be released to the Former Deputy Senate President to ascertain his real age.

Recall, that the said boy had claimed that he was a minor which led to the arrest and detention of the Senator.
