The United States Agency for International Development, USAID, says it has given over $5million additional funds to support the administering of the COVID-19 vaccine in Nigeria.
Deputy Project Director, Risk Communication, of Breakthrough Action Nigeria, Olayinka Umar-Farouk made the revelation during a Work plan Development Workshop for the 2023 fiscal year in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State Capital.
Farouk noted that the funding was aimed at addressing vaccine hesitancy across different States in Nigeria.
