Ogun State governor, Dapo Abiodun, has harped on the need for security agencies to map efficient methods of tackling insurgency and other forms of criminality in the country.
Abiodun made known when he received the new State Commandant of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, Niyi Ajibola, in Abeokuta, the state capital.
He stated that security was not only about providing the needed weapons, but adequate welfare to the officers.
The Governor added that the relative peace in the state was as a result of synergy among the security agencies.
