The Apex Igbo Socio-Cultural Organisation, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, has faulted the Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, on the position of the Federal government in the detention and trial of Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu for alleged organ harvest in the United Kingdom.
A statement issued on Sunday by the Organization’s Spokesperson, Alex Ogbonnia, disagreed with Malami’s claim and therefore, called on Federal government intervention.
The statement urged the government to burnish their diplomatic channels in ensuring that Ekweremadu and his wife get the desired assistance by transferring the case to Nigeria.
Recall that Malami had on Thursday said the Federal government will not interfere with any Local or International legal battle involving Ekweremadu.
