Fire Guts Shopping Mall in Lagos

Report says a shopping mall at Ligali Ayorinde junction Victoria Island, Lagos, was today gutted by fire.

Confirming the incident in an interview with newsmen the Lagos Coordinator, National Emergency Management Agency, Ibrahim Farinloye, disclosed that the fire had been put out by Federal and Lagos State fire services.

According to him, investigation is still ongoing as to ascertain the cause of the incident.

Farinloye urged residents of the mall not to panic, having put the situation under control.
