Cross Rivers State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, has impounded 16,000 liters of stolen petroleum products in the state.
State Commandant of the Corps, Samuel Fadeyi, made this known while inspecting the seized petroleum products, in Calabar, the state capital.
Fadeyi noted that the search became necessary following an instruction from the Commandant General of NSCDC that some illegal activities were going on in parks.
He added that stolen products were stored in drums and gallons and hidden at trailer parks across the state.
