Osun Government Warns Against Violence

Osun State Government has warned those perpetrating violence in the State to desist or would be made to face the full wrath of the law.

This was contained in a statement issued by the State Commissioner for Information and Civic Orientation, Funke Egbemode, after the weekly State Executive Council meeting.

The statement noted the warning was consequent upon reported assassinations of Chieftains of the All Progressives Congress and violent attacks on Party members, including the wife of the Governor, Kafayat Oyetola.

It called on the Inspector General of Police, Usman Baba, and other Security Agencies to ensure adequate protection for the residents of the State.
