Ebonyi State Governor David Umahi has ordered the immediate sack of contractors handling environmental cleanliness in the state.
Umahi announced the sack in a statement signed by the State Commissioner for Environment, Richard Nnabu.
The statement called on members of the public who are interested in handling environmental sanitation and waste evacuation within the Capital City to apply to the office of the Commissioner within one week.
It noted that those to be engaged for the exercise should be able to demonstrate their competence and commitment to duties within 7 days.
