Court Dismisses Application for Kyari’s Extradition

A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has rejected an application filed by the Federal government to extradite the suspended Deputy Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari, to the United States of America to face trial over his alleged involvement with an Internet Fraudster, Ramon Abbas.

Delivering judgment, the presiding Judge, Inyang Ekwo held that the extradition application filed by the federal government was incompetent and unmerited.

Justice Ekwo subsequently dismissed the extradition request.
