The Global Fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria has secured $14.25billion.
United States President, Joe Biden, who hosted the conference in New York on the sidelines of the Annual high-level meeting of the United Nations General Assembly, said the fund was crucial to combating the diseases.
According to Biden, this investment would save another 20 million lives and reduce mortality from these diseases.
The President, however, thanked the World Leaders for their support.
