At least nine pupils died and two remain missing in southern Cambodia after a ferry capsized.
District police official, Dim Samrith revealed that four people two students and two crew members were rescued on Thursday on the Mekong River southeast of the capital.
Samrith noted that such an incident should not have happened, adding that the river was calm at the time of the accident.
He added that the boat was crowded with 15 passengers and crew, and did not have life vests.
