Doctors Sensitize Ebonyi Residents on Lassa Fever Prevention

Medical practitioners have tasked residents of Ebonyi State on the need to prevent the resurgence of Lassa fever in the state,

Project Coordinator of the group, Elton Mbofana, disclosed this in an interview with newsmen in Abakiliki the state capital.

Mbofana noted that prevention and early detection of Lassa fever were key factors that would ensure that lives were saved.

The humanitarian organization called on communities to take measures aimed at forestalling the outbreak of the virus.
