South African Music Producer Shot Dead

Popular South African music producer and creator of the viral Amapiano sound, DJ Sumbody, is dead.

According to reports, Sumbody was shot dead when unknown gunmen sprayed his vehicle with a hail of bullets killing him and one of his bodyguards instantly.

A Sandton police officer said a third person, believed to be DJ Sumbody’s second bodyguard, was rushed to hospital in critical condition.

The police have said they are looking for the suspects and are looking critically into the circumstances surrounding a gunshot.
