The United States Agency for International Development, USAID, State2State project has ensured the formulation of a sustainable development plan for Ebonyi State.
Team Lead of the project in the state, Sam Onyia, made this known during a one-day Validation Workshop on the final draft of the State Development Plan.
Onyia noted that the process commenced in February with critical stakeholders such as traditional rulers, political leaders, civil society organisations, government officials, private sector among others, making veritable inputs.
He added that the governor set up a 12-member committee and an 18-member technical committee in November 2021 to achieve the development plan.
