Ministry of Mines and Steel Development Urge Edo Residents not to Panic

The Ministry of Mines and Steel Development has urged Edo State residents not to panic over low flying aircraft in the area.

Media/Communication Officer, Mineral Sector Support for Economic Diversification Project of the ministry, Ishaku Kigbu, explained that the aircraft was carrying out an airborne survey to improve availability of geological information.

Kigbu noted that the survey has become very necessary given the security situation in the country coupled with the tension of electioneering season.
