The National Assembly’s refusal to enact the “Prevention, Prohibition and Redress of Sexual Harassment in Tertiary Educational Institutions Bill, 2019” has been condemned as the “epic of injustice” by a group of Nigerian students.
In a statement made available on Wednesday by some students, it was revealed that the bill has not reached the presidency under Muhammadu Buhari before he left office.
They Students urged the current administration to do the needful to protect the dignity of students. They called on the Presidency and National Assembly to save students from continued violation of their bodily integrity.
