The Independent Corrupt Practices And Other Related Offences, Commission, ICPC is set to file an appeal following the verdict of the Federal High Court, Abuja, ordering it to pay the former registrar of Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, Dibu Ojerinde, the sum of N1 million as damages.
ICPC revealed this in a post captioned “Ojerinde: ICPC Set to Appeal Ruling” and shared on its official Twitter handle.
The ICPC has expressed its dissatisfaction with the ruling of the Federal High Court, Abuja.
The Commission said it intends to appeal the ruling of the court, and that the anti-corruption agency had a valid warrant issued by the Chief Judge of the Federal High Court dated December 6, 2022.
Recall that the Federal High Court had issued a fine of N1 million as damages to be paid to ex-JAMB registrar.
