Abia CP visits ABN station, apologizes for officer’s conduct

Abia State Police Commissioner Kenechukwu Onwuemelie has visited the headquarters of All Breaking News ABN on Azikiwe Road Umuahia, to conduct an assessment of the station.
The Abia CP, who visited the ABN office in the company of some senior Police officers, apologised for the conduct of his officers, adding that the matter was amicably resolved between the two organizations after a discussion between the CP and the ABN Director.
The PPRO of the Abia Command, Maureen Chinaka, on behalf of the CP, said preliminary investigations into the incident indicated that the Police officers who made the arrest, conducted themselves unprofessionally.
Recall that some Policemen on Tuesday, stormed the live studio of the station to effect the arrest of a man.
