The Nigeria Air Force, a component of the Operation Haderin Daji, OPHD, has ambushed bandits plotting to unleash terror attacks on some communities in Zamfara State.
The fleeing bandits were ambushed in a force operation at Makaruwa village, and reports is the plotted attack was a reprisal targeted at some villages before the OPHD troops swooped on them.
According to the OPHD Spokesman, Sulieman Omole, the successful operation underscored the relentless pursuit of peace and security in Northwest Nigeria, signaling a firm stand against criminal elements threatening the stability of the region.
