The First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu has commended Oluchukwu Owowoh for emerging as the first Nigerian female cadet to graduate from the Royal Military Academy (RMA), Sandhurst, United Kingdom.
Oluremi Tinubu, who received Owowoh, led by John Ochia, the Commandant, Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), to the State House on Monday described her story as one of aspiration, resilience and determination worthy of emulation by the Nigerian youth.
Ochai in an earlier statement highlighted that Owowoh’s outstanding performance, marks history amidst Canada, Australia and others, who brought their best to be trained in the institution where she succeeded.
Also, Oghogho Musa, the President of Defence and Police Officers’ Wives Association, (DEPOWA), appreciated the Nigerian Army for celebrating Owowoh, emphasizing that her success would create opportunities for more women in the military to be included in key decision making and other notable exercises.
