The Federal Executive Council, FEC, has approved the establishment of a tripartite committee tasked with streamlining visa processes and acquisition.
As disclosed by the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Muhammad Idris, while briefing State House Correspondents on Tuesday, the committee would ensure that investors and tourists find it easy to acquire Nigerian visas within 48 hours.
Idris said the approval of the committee is aimed at easing processes for foreign investors, highlighting that visa processes in nigeria are cumbersome which in turn impedes the ease of doing business in the country.
He also ssured that going forward investors and tourists would find it easy to acquire a visa within 48 hours.
