Osimhen, Onyemaechi join Super Eagles’ injury list

Victor Osimhen and Bruno Onyemaechi have joined Super Eagles’ injury list ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against South Africa and Benin.
Reports show that Isimhen did not take part in Napoli’s training on Monday after sustaining an injury in the Partenopei’s Serie A clash with Bologna last weekend.
According to information available on Napoli’s official website, the forward underwent recovery work for a muscle strain.
The injury has put him in doubt for Francesco Calzona side’s league clash against Fiorentina this weekend.
Left-back Bruno Onyemaechi is already ruled out for the remainder of the campaign due to a knee injury
