Reports say two more persons have been beheaded barely 24 hours after the last incident in Effium community, Ohaukwu Local Government Area of Ebonyi State.

James Agena, disclosed that the warlords invaded the Igede community yesterday, killed two people, kidnapped one, burnt three houses and left many injured.
He added that the latest incident was the third in the series of coordinated attacks on Effium natives by suspected warlords.
According to him, the two people were 79- year-old Paul Idu and 47-year-old Elizabeth Agbudu, while the whereabouts of 10-year-old Ekene Ukwo was still unknown.
The natives of Effium in the community have called on President Bola Tinubu and Governor Francis Nwifuru to note the continuous killings, burning of houses and kidnapping of innocent people by the suspected warlords and come to their rescue.
