The lifeless body of a yet-to-be-identified woman has been reportedly found in a bush along Amaraku-Umudim Road in Isiala-Mbano Local Government Area of Imo State.
The incident took place during the early hours of Tuesday and the woman’s identity has remained unknown to the public.
A villager who spoke on condition of anonymity stated that the woman had no blood stains which suggest that the assailants used no weapon, however she was stripped naked of her upper wear.
The Imo State Police Command’s spokesman, Henry Okoye, said he was yet to be briefed on the matter but promised to give updates as soon as the command got information concerning the incident.
