The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has awarded three points and three goals to Rangers International FC of Enugu for the abandoned oriental derby with Enyimba FC of Aba.
Enyimba walked out of the game in stoppage time on account of a penalty awarded to the host which pushed
Aba giants fans to invade the pitch.
The NPFL also fined Enyimba ₦10 million for the unruly behaviour of their players, officials and supporters during the game.
The league body has also fined Rangers ₦5 million for various offences, including non provision of adequate security, encroachment on the pitch by fans and other unauthorized persons, as well as sales of tickets to spectators exceeding the stadium capacity.
