Moses Simon has confirmed his fitness for Nantes’ upcoming pre-season friendlies against Lorient and Crystal Palace, despite recent concerns about an ankle injury.
Simon, who scored the winning goal in Nantes’ 2-1 victory over Laval, assured fans that the injury is minor and that he will resume training and play in the next pre-season match against Lorient on Wednesday.
This is a relief for Nantes, as Simon missed three months of action last season due to an injury sustained during international duty in March.
