Ebonyi elders condemn killing of soldiers

The members of Edda Elders Council, in Edda Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, have condemned in strong terms the unwarranted attack and killing of a soldier in the Amangwu axis by suspected hoodlums.
In a statement signed on Thursday and made available to newsmen in Abakaliki, the chairman of the Edda Elders’ Council, Livinus Irem and the secretary, John Emegha, condemned the unprovoked attack at the military base and described the incident as tragic.
According to the statement, The people of Edda condemned in its entirety the barbaric act, stating they abhor evil in whatever manner or form.
