Remo Stars head coach Daniel Ogunmodede has been appointed as one of the assistants to Super Eagles interim head coach Austine Eguavoen for the upcoming 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
The Super Eagles are scheduled to compete against Benin Republic and Rwanda, with Eguavoen leading the team for both matches.
Ogunmodede has led Remo Stars to back-to-back second-place finishes over the past two seasons and has extended his commitment to the club by signing a new three-year contract.
The Super Eagles will first host the Benin Republic at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo this Saturday before travelling to Kigali to take on Rwanda at the Amahoro Stadium next Tuesday.
