Napoli striker Victor Osimhen is on the verge of joining Galatasaray on loan, following an agreement reached between the former Italian champions and the player on Monday.
The 25-year-old forward, who recently saw a potential transfer to Chelsea fall through, now has an opportunity to move away from Napoli before the Turkish transfer window closes on September 13.
According to sports news agencies, Napoli has approved a dry loan arrangement, which does not include an option to buy, provided that Galatasaray covers Osimhen’s full salary, amounting to nearly €11 million per season.
Napoli’s director of sport, Giovanni Manna, confirmed the ongoing negotiations with Galatasaray, stating to Sports Digitale in Turkey, stating that the team is close to an agreement.
