Russian officials report that they shot down 144 Ukrainian drones yesterday, Monday, in a series of attacks that have left one woman dead, set residential buildings ablaze, and disrupted flights in Moscow.
According to the the governor of Moscow, Andrei Vorobyov, several apartments in two high-rise buildings in Ramenskoye, Moscow region were set on fire, a 46-year-old woman was killed, three others were injured, and 43 people have been evacuated to temporary shelters.
A statement by the Russia’s defence ministry confirms that out of the 144 drones intercepted, half were in the western Bryansk region, 20 in Moscow, and 14 over the Kursk region.
In other developments, Russia claims to have captured at least three villages and liberated the town of Krasnohorivka in the Donetsk region of eastern Ukraine.
