The Nigerian Ports Authority, in collaboration with other government agencies, has finalized plans to implement the sale of crude oil and refined products in Naira to Dangote’s Refinery.
During a meeting at the NPA Headquarters in Lagos, on Thursday Managing Director Abdulkadir Dantsoho confirmed the commencement of the Federal Government’s directive for the NPA to oversee service coordination with all regulatory, security, and other stakeholders as this will ensure the smooth implementation of the Naira-based sales initiative.
The NPA is also establishing a One-Stop Shop to streamline services from all involved agencies whereas the collaboration aims to ensure the availability of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) and other petroleum products nationwide as Dantsoho reaffirmed the agency’s commitment to working with all stakeholders to achieve this goal.
