The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced early Monday that its air force targeted a Hamas command center in the Gaza Strip, located in the Deir al-Balah area within the Shuhada al-Aqsa hospital.
The IDF stated that the center was used for planning attacks against Israel, and in previous strikes in the same region, the IDF had also hit Hamas command centers in a former school and mosque.
The military emphasized that precautions were taken to minimize civilian harm during the operation. The ongoing conflict has resulted in significant casualties on both sides over the past year.
