Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga has refuted claims that the president holds the position of Nigeria’s petroleum minister.
During an appearance on a interview on Sunday, Onanuga clarified that Tinubu has never assumed the title, emphasizing that the oil sector is managed by two appointed ministers.
Onanuga clarified that President Tinubu has never identified himself as the Minister of Petroleum, attributing the title to media misrepresentation.
Addressing public concerns, Onanuga assured that the president is aware of and responsive to the hardships faced by Nigerians, countering criticisms of governmental indifference.
