The President of the Nigeria Olympic Committee, Habu Gumel, has commended the President of the Nigeria Judo Federation, Olakunle Oshodi, on his election into the West African Judo Union.
The West African Judo election was held in Casablanca, the Moroccan port city, on Wednesday during the African Judo Union Congress with 12 West African countries in attendance.
During the election, President of Nigeria Judo Federation, Olakunle Oshodi, was elected as the General Secretary, and the news of his election gladdened the President of Nigeria Olympic Committee, Habu Gumel, who praised him for his unwavering commitment to Judo in Nigeria and urged him to use his entry into the West African board to spread the love of Judo in other Western countries.
