Akwa United assistant coach Akarandut Orok has praised the team’s determination and doggedness in the victory over Enyimba.
The Promise Keepers defeated the visitors 2-1 at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo, on Sunday.
It was Akwa United’s first win in the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, under new head coach Kennedy Boboye.
The former champions will be away to Sunshine Stars in their next league game this weekend.
