Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand has suggested that striker Rasmus Højlund has been underperforming recently under current manager Ruben Amorim.
Ferdinand’s comments come on Tuesday after Man United were eliminated from the FA Cup by Fulham over the weekend.
Højlund featured against Fulham and was replaced by teenager Chido Obi-Martin in the second half of Sunday’s FA Cup tie.
The 22-year-old joined the Red Devils from Atalanta for £72 million and has so far failed to live up to his price tag at Old Trafford, scoring just two goals in the Premier League this season.
