Imo State Chapter of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, will on Wednesday 23rd February 2022, welcome the recently inaugurated National Secretary of the party, Samuel Anyanwu.
According to a statement issued by the State Working Committee, of the Party, the event is expected to be preceded by receipt of thousands of defecting members of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, and the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, to PDP.
The statement noted that Anyanwu’s emergence as the engine room of the PDP alongside other members of the National Working Committee, NWC, has remained a testimony across party lines.
It added that since the Senator was elected the National Secretary of the party, he has being utilizing the opportunity by reaching out to former members of the party with a view to wooing them back into the party.
